Giving to the College
A College of Agriculture education has a cost. It comes in the form of tuition, books, housing, and other expenses necessary to be a college student in Logan. Yet, for our students, the cost is an investment. We invest in our future by investing in our education.
Once we are established in our agricultural business, industries, and service agencies, we are able to give back. This is the real return on our investment. To give generously, to give often, and to give consistently to our alma mater will give us the opportunity to serve the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Ways to Give to the College of Agriculture
Annual Fund
Annual gifts strengthen academic programs, enhance library and technology services, fund student organizations, and provide financial aid to deserving students. The Annual Fund increases the quality of the College of Agriculture. All students, past and present, have benefited from the Annual Fund.
Endowments
Endowments provide support that will last forever for scholarships, professorships, new facilities, and programs. These gifts represent a crucial source of funding as well as a lasting legacy. In recognition, many endowments may be named after the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor. Please contact Mary Lynne Clark at MaryLynne.Clark@usu.edu or by phone at 435-797-2208 to discuss creating your endowment.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts enable you to remember loved ones, influential professors, and anyone else who has made a difference in your life. By including Utah State in your estate plan, you can make a difference in someone else’s life long after you’re gone. You can support any area of the university that is important to you, including scholarships for students who are unable to afford college. Bequests can be arranged through a variety of giving instruments, such as charitable gift annuities, life insurance, retirement accounts, or the proceeds from the sale of a home or farm.
Please contact Mary Lynne Clark at MaryLynne.Clark@usu.edu or by phone at 435-797-2208 to discuss planned giving.
